
China has experienced double digit growth for five years straight[i].
In January, NBA China was valued at $2.3 billion with Disney (ESPN) and four Chinese firms acquiring an 11% stake for $253 million[ii].
An estimated 200 million Chinese viewers tuned into the Houston Rockets vs. Milwaukee Bucks regular season NBA game[iii] vs. 97.5 million of Super Bowl XLII[iv]. The Super Bowl was the second largest US audience in history, second only to the final episode of M.A.S.H.
